Remember When

The Late Night Stampers challenge this week involves the Sale-a-bration goodies!  I have two cards to share with you using the same stamp set - Feeling Sentimental, although remember I said I wasn't committed to it so I was using it digitally?  These images are still digital ones, but I have since purchased the set :)

I embossed the sentiment from Word Play with Gold embossing powder and added some Sprinkles and Sunshine dsp and Naturals designer buttons.  The Early Espresso layer is embossed with the Cloudy Day folder.

These cards are also digital except for the sentiment which comes from Lacy and Lovely.  I used Pool Party and Basic Gray as my colors and the dsp is from the Simply Scrappin' Kit called Afternoon Daydream.

The embossing on the two cards above was done with the Vintage Wallpaper and Honeycomb folders.

Hope you come and play along with us!

Serene Mosaic

Our Late Night Stamper challenge this week is to use mosaic on our projects.  I chose to do a card with a technique I have used before, but it has been a long time.

I took some leftover Sticky Sheets that I had and cut a strip to 1 1/2" x 5 1/4".  Then I randomly cut up some pieces of Soft Suede, Crumb Cake and Naturals composition paper (I used the back side) and placed them on the sticky sheet leaving space between them.

After I had enough pieces on the sticky sheet, I covered the rest with Early Espresso embossing powder and used my heat tool to set it.  Very easy to do and I like the way it turned out on this card.

Supplies:
Teeny Tiny Wishes
Serene Silhouettes
Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Early Espresso card stock
Naturals Composition paper
Soft Suede classic ink
Vanilla velvet ribbon
Early Espresso embossing powder
heat tool
sticky sheets

Hello Doily collection

I decided I haven't used my Hello doily stamp in awhile so I pulled it out and did some embossing with the Early Espresso embossing powder.

I went with the same idea on all of the pieces I embossed, each in a little different position, using sponges and Wisteria Wonder, Pool Party, Pink Pirouette and Bashful Blue.

I think I like the ones with the embossed  1 3/4" circle the best...

On this one I used Primrose Petals and tore a corner for a little change.

The Very Vanilla layer of all of them is one of the doilies from the Delicate Doilies sizzlit.  I used Victoria Crochet trim and some designer buttons as well.

I have been making a few Christmas cards as I play with some new Holiday Mini catalog goodies.  This again uses the Sassy Salutations stamp set and also the Scentsational Season set.  I added a little DSP from the Candlelight Christmas specialty paper pack and some pearls.

The tree is embossed with Vanilla embossing powder. and I used Early Espresso classic ink.

Another Do Over card

This is my second sample of a do over card for Late Night Stampers this week.  The original card is in this post.  I chose to use the same stamp set, but different colors.

I added an extra flower that I embossed with black embossing powder and added color with reinkers and water before I cut it out.  There is also a layer of Vanilla shimmer smooch spritz on the cut out rose and it is added to the base with dimensionals.

I stamped a light image of another flower on the inside.
