Non Winning Artisan Project #6

I played around with so many techniques and ideas on this page and really didn't want to give it up when I was done with it, but also didn't know if I wanted to spend another 3 hours on one scrapbook page!

Some of the background texture is from inked embossing folders and other is from inked up saran wrap.

I did LOTS of sponging and some distressing of card stock along with lots of layering.

Supplies:
Notable Alphabet
Fan Fair dsp
Tea for Two dsp
Very Vanilla, Early Espresso, Midnight Muse card stock
Midnight Muse, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Gumball Green, Soft Suede classic ink
Chevron Folder
Honeycomb Folder
designer buttons
Stitched satin ribbon

Teacher Gifts

The Late Night Stampers challenge this week is Teacher gifts...

I always like to give my kid's teachers a little thank you at the end of the year, I know it is something I couldn't do and I am grateful for them.

I put together this little box and decorated it with Tea for Two dsp and some Oh Hello stamped images.  The green striped things are cool straws I found and I put them into a 1" x 8" cello bag.

I added a wrapped up candy bar, post it note holder, decorated water bottle and flavor packet, a pen and some note cards.

One down, two to go!

Come on over and see what the team has created to inspire you!

Since we have had some rain delaying some potato shipping, I found a little time to play along with Mary Jo's sketch challenge for the week.

I flipped her sketch and used a different shape as  the focus.

There is a little bit of Tea for Two dsp and another sentiment stamped on the inside.

Supplies:
Trust God
Calypso Coral, Pretty in Pink, So Saffron and Very Vanilla card stock
Lucky Limeade ink

Happy Day

I am sharing a couple cards that are pretty similar to each other, both made with leftovers that I had used for other projects.  Sometimes that makes putting cards together easier and sometimes it makes it a lot harder trying to figure out how to use the pieces.

The first one uses a sentiment from Friendly Phrases along with images from Oh Hello and some Tea for Two dsp.

The second only uses the Oh Hello stamp set and once again the Tea for Two dsp.  I haven't been the biggest fan of Calypso Coral, but I have been trying to make myself use it more especially since it will be part of the color renovation coming up.

January Stamp Club projects

I wanted to use a lot of new products for my January Stamp Club projects and this is what I came up with.

The first card uses both the Honeycomb folder and the Cloudy Day folder along with some More Amour specialty paper.

For the second card, I CASED one in the mini catalog with a few changes using the Sunshine and Sprinkles dsp and the Cuddles and Kisses stamp set.

For the layout, I chose to use the Tea for Two dsp and the Hearts a Flutter framelits.
