Our Late Night Stampers challenge this week is cards with animals or bugs on them.  I thought I would make a birthday card using the Under the Stars set and showcase one of the creatures that likes to frequent our backyard lately.  I even caught him on our deck with his nose to our sliding glass door one night!

I have been practicing my watercoloring a little, these cakes are fun to color in.  I used the watercolor paper, black stazon ink and then markers and the watercolor pen.

Our challenge on Late Night Stampers this week is to use animal images so I pulled out the Under the Stars stamp set and instead of using the bear image that I normally do, I decided to focus on the raccoon. 

The "friend" is from the stamp set Love you Much.

More In Colors

Another In Colors card for our Late Night Stampers In Color challenge this week.  I again used a Rock n Roll technique on this card similar to one I made a couple days ago.  This time I used Blushing Bride and Pear Pizazz.  The stamp sets are Razzle Dazzle and Occassional Quotes and the impressions folders I used were Vintage Wallpaper and Square Lattice.

I never seem to have enough masculine cards around so I put this one together with that in mind.

The piece of More Mustard on the side of the card is done with the faux suede technique.  You just use your bone folder on the cardstock like you would if you were curling ribbon to break down the fibers.  Repeat the process on the other side and then carefully pull it apart, you will be left with two pieces of card stock that have a suede look to them.
