Grab your Broom

I was playing with some different layouts using the Halloween boot image in the Bootiful Occasions stamp set.  Each one also uses Howlstooth and Scaringbone designer series paper and some retired black rhinestones.

The image is embossed with black embossing powder and I colored them in with markers.

I added a little Polka Dot Parade dsp to this one and the last one of the bunch as well.

The final one has a bunch of scraps on it that I put together to make one of the layers.

These cards are going to be entered in the Great Pumpkin Blog Hop this week...

Jar of Buttons

This is one of the door prizes I put together for our Stamp Camp last week.  I had a little jar that I put a variety of retired buttons in and decorated it with the Patio Party designer series paper.

I added a little dahlia to the top and a bow made with the Summer Starfruit 3/8" stitched satin ribbon to the front.

We had some great news yesterday from Stampin' Up!  They are extending the Spooktacular Halloween sign up promotion until September 16th!  Don't you want one of these fun sets to put together?  I know I do :)

Bordering on Romance

Another sample in the theme of the Late Night Stampers challenge this week - Color My World.  I used markers to color in the image on this one, using Pink Pirouette, Certainly Celery, So Saffron, Bashful Blue and Pretty in Pink.

The background is stamped with Soft Suede as is the sentiment and the main image.

I added a button with linen thread over the doily that is layered on Soft Suede.

Chunky Crayons

The Late Night Stampers Challenge this week is Color Me Happy (hand color something - not my favorite thing!).  I am going back to the melted watercolor crayons for this one and also the Need for Speed stamp set.

I colored in the race car with watercolor crayons and used my aqua painter  to do some blending.  Then, I cut it out and popped it up over some more of the melted crayons.

The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Banners.

August Stamp Camp Projects

Yesterday's Stamp Camp was lots of fun and I wanted to share the projects with you.  The first one was created by Lisa, I added the card stock and another layer of dsp to the back of mine along with the 3 dahlias, but isn't this just the cutest thing!

She had some candy corn and cello bags to go in them and had a little hand sanitizer in hers as a sample.  I had a candy corn one at home so I had to add it to the picture :)

I had two cards for my part of the camp, the first one using the Googly Ghouls stamp set and googlie eyes.  I used the Spider Web folder and the sanding system for the background.

The second card uses some fabric and I have made a few like this before that I have posted.  I use a piece of the multipurpose adhesive sheets to attach it to the card stock.

There is also a strip of fabric in the button.

It was a great morning, you can see in the background I had a little helper today.  She always love to come stamping with me and socializes with everyone!

Washer Necklaces

I have seen these necklaces so many places and have never tried to make them.  The ones I made are just decorated with dsp and crystal effects on both sides, but I think it would be fun to add some basic rhinestones or pearls to them or something else fun.

If you are coming to our Stamp Camp this morning, you will receive one as a thank you gift :)

I used Bakers Twine and Linen Thread  to tie onto the washers to complete the necklaces.

Twitterpatted Thank You

This card turned out a little busy I think, but maybe I can revamp it :)
I used the Twitterpatted DSP and fabric for this one, the fabric is on the layer over the Riding Hood Red card stock and I used some Multipurpose adhesive sheets to attach it.

I brought out some retired Blushing Bride card stock and added Whisper White and Riding Hood Red.  The ink colors are Baja Breeze and Island Indigo.

Little Bit of Good

I tried out the Woodgrain folder on Whisper White for this card and I like the way it turned out.  There is a white on white layer for the base and then I added some Polka Dot Parade dsp and Rich Razzleberry, Tempting Turquoise and Daffodil Delight.

The Argyle folder was used on on the Rich Razzleberry after I used the Large Scallop edgelit on the card stock.

I used the Fancy Fan folder on the Apothecary accent label in Tempting Turquoise and added some Turquoise glitter brads as well.

Christmas in the Heart

This week at Late Night Stampers, we have a challenge called Too Cool to Use.  I haven't tried out the Festival of Prints designer series paper stack yet so today that is my "tool cool to use" item.

This is a simple card that uses two patterns from that stack along with the Heart of Christmas single stamp and the Woodgrain Folder and the Oval Accent Clear Bigz Die.

I added a little Victoria crochet trim and an antique brad for an accent.  The card stock colors are Very Vanilla, Soft Suede, Lucky Limeade and Cherry Cobbler.

Preserved for You

I love this collection of items from the Holiday Mini catalog...I seem like I have a creative block when I go to use it most of the time though.  This is what I came up with one day...

I used the Orchard Harvest designer series paper (love these colors!) along with the Perfectly Preserved Bundle (stamp set and framelits).

I added some cotton ribbon that I cut the sides off and pulled some threads out of and a vintage trinket or two to complete the card.

Storytime Fun

This week our Late Night Stampers challenge theme is Back to School.  I thought the Storytime designer series paper would be perfect for a project this week.

I had purchased a couple of these large wooden clothespins awhile ago and decided to cover one with this dsp and add a little ribbon and an image from the paper.

They are about 6 inches tall and would sit easily on a desk.

For the card, I again used lots of the dsp and added the same ribbon and a sentiment from Wacky Wishes.

I chose Very Vanilla, Basic Gray, Basic Black, Real Red and Wild Wasabi for my colors and added a retired mini clothespin.

Come on over and join our challenge this week!  Our main group is here and the challenge blog entries are here.

I guess I am on a roll this week with Quick and Easy cards!  This one uses some scraps of Polka Dot Parade DSP.

I added a label from the Apothecard accents framelits and embossed it with the Chevron folder.  The sentiment also is one of the framelits from that collection and I used the stamp set Trust God.

August Stamp Club

These are this month's Stamp Club projects...

Our layout uses Betsy's Blossoms as the stamp set and Comfort Cafe DSP combined with Pool Party, Elegant Eggplant, Wild Wasabi and Very Vanilla.

I went with simple cards this time - love the white gel pen effect!

Another quick and easy one...
and the whole collection.
