Congrats
I have been trying to get back to using my Big Shot more often lately. It isn't really that I don't use it, because I actually use it quite often, but I used to use it on just about all my projects and I have gotten away from that (which is ok too).
On this card, I used the Sunshine Wishes thinlits for the flower and the "congrats" and then attached a piece of Peekaboo Peach card stock behind the flower outline and cut to so that there was no excess around the edges.
The background is a piece of Blooms and Bliss designer series paper and a delicate doily. I added some Sweet Sugarplum 5/8" ruched ribbon and some white thick bakers twine over the top.
Supplies:
Peekaboo Peach, Basic Black, Whisper White, Daffodil Delight card stock

Happy Birthday Bag
I like to give gift cards as gifts quite often and try to have fun ways to wrap or enclose them on hand. This little glassine gift bag would be a great way to share a gift card with someone by just adding it to a piece of card stock and sliding it inside the bag.
I added some This Christmas specialty designer series paper to the bag and then on top added a layered flower made by stamping the flower twice and then cutting out the full flower once and the inside of the second flower and layering them with Stampin' dimensionals.
Next came some gold and red sequin trim, the sentiment and a bow made from kraft rope trim that was taken apart.
Supplies:
Sunshine Sayings, Crazy about you
Dapper Denim ink
Very Vanilla, Soft Suede card stock

Another Paper Pumpkin Alternative
Here is the promised September Paper Pumpkin alternative project! I made a scrapbook page using most of the same elements I used on the alternative card idea yesterday. Halloween night specialty designer series paper and some extra card stock along with some Halloween enamel dots.
The kit comes with lots and lots of extra little six sided cut outs - some with designs on them and some blank.

September Paper Pumpkin and Alternative Idea
Normally this time of year my Paper Pumpkin box might be sitting in my stamp room for a few weeks before I could touch it, but this year has been a big test of patience. With more rain then we have ever had in a summer and it just keeps on coming... So instead of harvesting potatoes like I normally would be right now, I had time to put together my kit. Well, I should say I put together one of the items in the kit and made a couple alternative projects - my daughter decided to use the rest of the kit for her class on Halloween!
This month's kit has some fun test tubes to decorate and there were just enough for her class and one leftover for me :)
With the stamp set and a few of the extra pieces I made the card below. I added some Halloween Night specialty designer series paper and Basic Black and Rich Razzleberry card stock.
Hope you enjoyed the card and I will share another alternative idea with you tomorrow!
These kits are great for stress free fun! You can purchase your own (next month's and beyond) right here! These kits are always a surprise because we never know what is inside and that makes them even more fun!

Wedding Gift Idea
Awhile ago, I shared a Christmas themed memory tray with you and promised to share another idea using the same type of tray. This one is wedding themed, meant for the bride and groom to show off some pictures.
I chose to use the colors in the Blooms and Bliss designer series paper pack for the tray - Tip Top Taupe, Dapper Denim, Mint Macaron and Whisper White.
The different rectangles are decorated with the designer series paper along with the Floral Phrases and Birthday Blossoms stamp sets.
I added a few little embellishments using enamel dots, basic rhinestones, In color doilies, delicate doilies and some retired floral rhinestone embellishments that were just on the clearance rack.
Supplies:
Floral Phrases, Birthday Blossoms
Dapper Denim, Mint Mararon, Tip Top Taupe ink
Whisper White, Tip Top Taupe, Mint Macaron, Dapper Denim card stock

Cookie Cutter Ornaments
I saw some cute cookie cutter Christmas ornaments online one day and wanted to try a few out for myself.
The first thing I did was pick out my paper. Then, I cut a piece that was slightly bigger than the ornament and pulled out my fine tip glue pen.
I set the paper down with the ornament on top and added a generous coating of glue to the inside edges.
After that dried, I used a sharp knife to trim around the ornament. Then on to the fun stuff!
I added some more glue and chunky glitter around the edges. Each one has a little Christmas trinket hanging inside on the Candy Cane Lane baker's twine that will also hold the ornament on the tree.
To embellish them, I used the Starlight thinlits, basic pearls, and the Christmas magic stamp set.
Supplies:
Christmas Magic
Basic Black, Cherry Cobbler, Delightful Dijon ink
Whisper White, Emerald Envy, Bermuda Bay card stock
fine tip glue pen
Christmas trinkets embellishments
chunky glitter
basic pearls

Fabulous Foil Box
Once in awhile I make card boxes when I want to share some cards as a gift or thank you and I have shown you a few in the past. This one is made with the Fabulous Foil designer acetate found in the Idea Book and Catalog. I love the designs printed on the acetate sheets!
Because I wanted the design to stand out, the back of the box is made with Basic Black cards stock.
To decorate, I used the Thankful Thoughts stamp set, circle punches, a delicate doily and some Candy Cane Lane baker's twine.
And finally the box with some cards in it ready to share with someone!
Supplies:
Thankful Thoughts
Cherry Cobbler ink
Whisper White, Basic Black, Cherry Cobbler card stock
Fabulous Foil designer acetate
delicate doilies
Candy Cane Lane baker's twine
1 3/4" and 2" circle punches

Get Well
Recently one of our nephews was hurt playing football and I wanted to send him a card to let him know we are thinking about him as he heals. My daughter had the same idea and made one of her own for him and we sent them together.
I chose to use the Get Well Soup stamp set and stamped the image on some Serene Scenery designer series paper as well as on a piece of Pool Party card stock. I cut out the cup stamped on the designer series paper and added it to the card stock.
Another piece of designer series paper went behind the Pool Party card stock and I also stamped some images on the card base with the Playful Background stamp set.
My "soup" was colored in with the Wink of Stella glitter brush although in the photographs that is difficult to see.
Supplies:
Get Well Soup, Playful Backgrounds
Basic Gray, Basic Black ink
Pool Party, Smoky Slate, Basic Gray card stock
Serene Scenery dsp

September Stamp Club Projects
It is time to share my monthly stamp club projects with you again. This time around I created a layout using the Pop of Pink specialty paper and used some items from the Holiday catalog for the cards.
The first card uses the This Christmas specialty paper and Wonder of Christmas stamp set. I colored in the angel with markers and the Wink of Stella glitter brush.
The second card uses the Halloween Night specialty paper, Ghoulish grunge stamp set and Suite Seasons stamp set along with some Halloween night enamel dots.
The layout this month leaves lots of open space for the user to add a title, journaling, embellishments or just leave as white space. I cut the designer series paper at an angle for the left page and have added some washi tape and little banners as accents.
If these look like fun to you and you think you might like to join us for stamp club - contact me here for more information about both my monthly club and my every other month virtual clubs!

Festive Jar Card
And back to the Jar of love and Everyday Jars framelits combination again! I used some Fruit stand designer series paper to stamp my jar on this time and used the lemons print to make it look as though they are in the jar. There is also another pattern of the same designer series paper behind the jar.
My background is embossed with the Festive folder and I have added some thick white baker's twine around it for texture.
The jar as well as the lid and bow are die cut using the Everyday Jars framelits after I stamped the pieces.
Supplies:
Jar of Love,
Watermelon Wonder, Smoky Slate, Basic Black ink
Whisper White, Soft Sky card stock

Christmas Memory Tray
I always love playing with this type of decoration, trying to tie in different ideas in all the different slots of the memory tray. In the last few weeks I have put together a couple different ones with different themes and while I will show them all to you eventually, I thought I would share the Christmas themed one first.
The wooden tray is 12" x 12" and while this one happens to be white, I also have some black ones to play with :) I started by choosing one of the designer series paper packs that Stampin' Up! has available in a Christmas theme and the one I chose is called This Christmas specialty paper.
Next, I picked the stamp sets - Wonder of Christmas and Star of Light...
I definitely had a good time playing with embellishments on this project, some retired and some current, but all of them are Stampin' Up! products.
Although Crumb Cake is not a color in the This Christmas specialty paper collection, I decided to add that to my color scheme.
For the ink colors, I stayed with the same ones as in the paper - Cherry Cobbler, Basic Black and Garden Green except for coloring in the angel where I added a few other colors.
My favorite pattern of the paper collection is the music sheets, I have always been drawn to that and decided to highlight it a couple of different ways - with some Fabulous Foil designer acetate over the top in one slot and as a large background in another.
If you happen to be able to go to the Fall Scrapbooking retreat at Park River Bible Camp in November, this is a project that I am teaching a class on and you will have a few different themes to choose from :)
Supplies:
Wonder of Christmas, Star of Light
Cherry Cobbler, Basic Black, Garden Green, Soft Sky Crumb Cake ink
Garden Green, Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla card stock
This Christmas specialty paper
Fabulous Foil designer acetate
Starlight thinlits

You Light Up My Life
I wanted to make a card using the little lightning bugs in the Jar of Love stamp set and thought that his designer series paper pattern from Serene Scenery would work pretty well. It turns out that I also used two other patterns from that designer series paper collection on the care, one piece behind the main one and another to stamp my jar on.
I added a little piece of burlap ribbon around part of the layers as well.
Supplies:
Jar of Love
Basic Black ink
Crumb Cake card stock
Serene Scenery dsp
Everyday jars framelits

Stroke of Genius
This is the card I made for one of my crafty little nieces (ok maybe not quite so little anymore!). I used the Work of Art stamp set and added lots of splotches on the card base behind the layers and also on the easel.
The easel was stamped and then hand cut using the paper snips and I added some Blooms and Bliss designer series paper behind it.
Supplies:
Work of Art
Sweet Sugarplum, Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach, Soft Suede, Early Espresso ink
Whisper White, Crumb Cake card stock

Jingle Bell Box
Although it may not look like it, today's projects uses quite a few of the same products as yesterday's card. The stamp set and one of the designer series paper packs as well as the ink color and a couple of the card stock colors...
To start off, I had a piece of 5" x 9" Crumb Cake card stock and I scored it at 1", 4", 5" and 8" on the long side and 1" and 4" on the short side. I made my cuts to fold it into a box and then added some layers of decoration...
The bellyband around the box is made from Presents and Pinecones designer series paper and since the full length of the 12" designer series paper was just a little bit too short to wrap around, I added a jingle bell where the two ends meet to make it look like it is long enough as you can maybe see in the picture below.
My jingle bells were stamped, colored and cut out. After I colored them I added some shimmer with the Wink of Stella glitter brush.
Supplies:
Christmas Magic
Basic Black, Delightful Dijon, Cherry Cobbler ink
Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler, Dapper Denim, Whisper White card stock
Warmth and Cheer dsp
Presents and Pinecones dsp
In color Doilies
Burlap ribbon

Merriest Wishes
On this card I thought I would try using some designer series paper as my back layer on the front of the card. If you do this, remember that you can always die cut the middle out before you use it to utilize all that great paper!
I embossed a piece of Dapper Denim card stock with the Pretty Paisleys folder and then cut out the middle using one of the Ovals framelits. Then I added my stamped train image behind that and mounted it all on the designer series paper.
Supplies:
Christmas Magic
Basic Black ink
Dapper Denim, Crumb Cake, Pool Party card stock
Warmth and Cheer dsp
basic pearls
Pretty Paisleys folder
Ovals framelits

Happy Always
Today's card has brought me back to the versatile stamp set called Suite Seasons. This time I have added the Pine Bough folder to the mix in my background and also used some Candy Cane Lane baker's twine.
I decided to add some dots to look like red berries on my sentiment layer as well since I wanted to add a little pop of color.
Supplies:
Suite Seasons
Garden Green ink
Soft Suede, Very Vanilla, Night of Navy card stock
Pine Bough folder
Candy Cane Lane baker's twine
brights dots
