Happy Thoughts

This is a simple card using lots of shades of blue...I started with the Happy Thoughts stamp set and used two of the sentiments stamping them both with Night of Navy ink.

The strip of designer series paper is from the Berry Delightful collection (SAB 2021) and the Happy Birthday is stamped on a die cut from the Tasteful Labels dies collection.

Hello Baby

There are some super cute stamps in the upcoming mini catalog for baby and kids cards and the Kangaroo and Company set is one of them.  I put together some baby boy and girl cards using this design just changing out the strip of card stock.

The kangaroo was stamped with Early Espresso ink and colored in with Stampin' Blends.  The baby was stamped on scraps and cut out, then popped up with Stampin' dimensionals.

A Touch of Ink

On this card, I am combining a couple Sale-a-bration items - A Touch of Ink stamp set and Berry Delightful designer series paper (which comes with the Berry Blessings stamp set).

I started with stamping some leaves using Shaded Spruce ink for the outline and Granny Apple Green for the leaves.  

Then, I die cut a piece of Rich Razzleberry card stock and a smaller one of the designer series paper and layered them on each other.  The hummingbird was stamped on a scrap and then cut out with the paper snips before I added it to the circles with Stampin' dimensionals.

Purple Hydrangea

I have had so much fun playing with new products from the upcoming mini catalog and Sale-a-bration catalog!  This week, I will again share more new product ideas with you, starting today with the Hydrangea Hill collection.

I stamped the background with Purple Posy ink and added the flower image with Memento Black ink before adding the second step stamp with Gorgeous Grape and Old Olive ink.  There is some Fine Art 3/8" ribbon and Pastel Pearls used as accents.

The image is framed with the Stitched Rectangle framelits die cuts and I also added some Hydrangea Hill designer series paper to the card base in the background.

Merry Christmas! 

I made one last Christmas card to share with you using the For Unto Us and In the Pines stamp sets.

I cut 1" off the front side of the card base and added some Poinsettia Place designer series paper to the inside of the card along with some stamped images.  On the front, I also used the same designer series paper, a die cut from the Tasteful labels dies and some Fine Art 3/8" ribbon.  There are a few champagne rhinestones added to complete the card.

Art Gallery

Once in awhile I put together cards that can be used for any occasion or that I will add a sentiment to later.  This is one of those card projects...

I used the Art Gallery stamp set along with Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape and Old Olive ink.  The flower is two step stamped...The card stock mat is Purple Posy and I added some crumb cake ribbon to complete it.

Forever After

There are four different packages of designer series paper available in the Sale-a-bration catalog coming up in January - one of them in packaged with a stamp set, but the other three are available by themselves.  The one used in this card is called Flower and Field and I love the colors and images. 

The sentiment comes from the Forever Fern stamp set and I added a die cut from the Stitched So Sweetly dies and some Daffodil Delight ribbon behind it.

Our Thoughts

This card is a mix of lots of different products - current, retiring and retired.  

I started with some Gilded Autumn specialty paper on the side of the Very Vanilla card base.  Next came the layered Stitched Shape Framelits for the layering the sentiment.

On the sentiment layer I added some images from the Forever Fern stamp set in the background using Mint Macaron ink and finally the sentiments from the retired Lasting Lily stamp set.

Dragonfly Garden

There are some beautiful painted patterns in the Fine Art Floral designer series paper that will be available in January in the upcoming mini catalog.  On the back sides of several of the designs there are painted patterns without specific images such as the design in the cards below.  I love using these just as much as the painted flowers images!

I stamped the flower image from Dragonfly Garden onto the designer series paper and then layered the sentiment on a Stitched Nested Label die cut and then used Stampin' Dimensionals for both layers to add dimension.

Aren't these cards fun? In the upcoming mini catalog there will be a Handsomely Suited Bundle that will include the Handsomely Suited Stamp Set and Suit and Tie Dies.  I have used both of these on the cards today along with the coordinating Well Suited designer series paper.

Aren't those little buttons on the shirt adorable?  They are part of the die set as well...

The ties were stamped with Basic Gray ink (on the bow tie) and Night of Navy ink (on the neck tie) and colored in with Stampin' Blends markers, then die cut. 

It will be fun to see all the variations that will be made using these dies in the future!

I added some designer series paper from the Sale-a-bration collection called Flower and Field in the background along with a die cut from the Tasteful Labels dies collection.  The sentiment layers are made with the Stitched So Sweetly dies and Labels dies.
